Reduce Back Pain In 7 Minutes

Simple stretches to loosen a stiff aching back in less time than brewing a cup of tea.
In the information age our bodies are not getting the physical movement they typically received during the industrial or agricultural ages so we have to change our actions to help it out.
Backs are a quite complex body part involving intertwining bone, muscle, cartilage, nerves, etc. therefore many times it is difficult to pin point the source of back pain. Lower back pain is a very common ailment affecting both sedentary and lifting lifestyle activities.
There is no one way to “fix” lower back pain but these stretches done on a regular basis can definitely help improve the situations of soreness, stiffness or spasms.

1. The hamstring floor stretch.
Hold for 30 seconds twice for each leg.
2. Knee to chest stretch.
Hold for 20 seconds for each leg twice.
3. Spinal stretch.
Hold for 20 seconds and repeat on the other knee.
4. The piriformis stretch.
Hold for 30 seconds and repeat with the other leg.

5. The hip flexors stretch.
Hold for 30 seconds and then switch and repeat.
6. The quadriceps lying down stretch.
Hold for 30 seconds on each side. Do this one twice on each side.
7. The total back stretch.
Hold this for 30 seconds and then try this:
8. The side stretch.
Hold for 10 seconds on both sides.
With regular stretching your lower back should feel great again!
